My Medium
Being a self-taught artist, my artworks are predominantly acrylic-based besides a few string arts. My preferred canvas size is 14"x18" with the biggest canvas used so far being 18"x24" in size. I use different brushes, painting techniques, toothbrushes, Ice-cream sticks and in fact everything I can grab to paint my dreams. Landscape scenery alongside some abstract art is what I like to do.
My background
I am Feroz Khan and I live in Bhopal, India. Right from my childhood days, creating something from scratch has always fascinated me. Be it assembling DIY Mechanics games, or gardening, or following Art shows, I have created, tinkered with and ruined countless things in the process. But as I grew up, the lil’ creative side of me picked up on paints n' brushes. Before I realized, I started painting my imagination on canvas and never looked back.
My Inspiration
Being a creative thinker and a keen observer, when I visit places, I like to note the intricacies of interaction between humans and their environment. This acts as an inspiration for everything I do in life. And as a result, all my artworks convey a human attribute. Some reflect ease, others exhibit effort while a few manifest motivation.
